Job Description

UniFirst is a premier leader in the garment services industry, commanding a significant presence in an $18 billion market. With over 16,000 team partners serving 300,000 business customer locations across the U.S., Canada, and Europe, UniFirst distinguishes itself through exceptional service, innovation, and commitment to customer satisfaction. The company has earned prestigious accolades, including being named among the top 10 companies to sell for by Selling Power magazine and receiving recognition on Forbes magazine's Platinum 400 list of Best Big Companies. UniFirst fosters a culture of inclusivity, support, and continuous growth, making it an employer of choice in the garment services sector.

As a Route Service Representative (RSR) at UniFirst, you will be the face of the company to customers, managing a dedicated delivery route and ensuring the highest level of service. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive on independence, engagement, and accountability. The primary responsibilities include delivering and picking up garments and products efficiently and reliably, building meaningful customer relationships, and actively growing your route through upselling opportunities. You’ll operate a company walk-in truck safely, presenting a professional image while navigating your assigned route with precision.

The RSR position is more than just a delivery job; it’s a dynamic, customer-centric role that combines logistical expertise, sales acumen, and interpersonal skills. You'll contribute directly to your customers' success by resolving service issues, managing inventory, and maintaining high safety and operational standards. Working Monday through Friday during daytime hours, you will enjoy a steady and predictable schedule without nights or weekends, supporting a balanced work-life dynamic.

UniFirst also offers comprehensive formal training via its SCP program to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel. This role is commissioned from day one, providing immediate earning potential and opportunities to increase your income by expanding and enhancing your route. Additionally, the position involves physical activity, requiring stamina to lift, carry, and push items up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods, ensuring an active and engaging workday.

Joining UniFirst means becoming part of a stable, inclusive, and professionally rewarding environment where your contributions make a tangible difference. The company prioritizes career development, offering continuous training and growth opportunities. With competitive compensation, including wages, 401(k) with company match, profit sharing, health and life insurance, paid time off, employee discounts, and tuition reimbursement, UniFirst supports both your professional and personal well-being. If you are customer-focused, self-motivated, and ready for a fulfilling, field-based service career, UniFirst provides an unmatched opportunity to build a lasting and impactful career.
