Job Description
Safety-Kleen, a subsidiary of Clean Harbors, is a well-established leader in providing environmental, energy, and industrial services across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. Known for delivering premier on-site services wherever industry meets environment, Safety-Kleen’s operations focus on innovative and proven methodologies to solve complex environmental challenges. With a commitment to sustainability and safety, Safety-Kleen plays a crucial role in managing hazardous waste, servicing parts washer machines, and providing industrial cleaning and maintenance services to a wide range of clients. This company’s culture centers on safety, professionalism, and the continuous development of its workforce to ensure high standards of service and environmental compliance.
Located in Clackamas, OR, Safety-Kleen is currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Sales and Service Route Driver. This full-time role involves training to operate a Class B box truck to provide essential onsite service for parts washer machines, pick up containerized hazardous waste, and sell Safety-Kleen products and services within a defined route. Candidates will have the unique advantage of having their Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) training paid for by the company, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to advance their driving and service careers.
As a Sales and Service Route Driver with Safety-Kleen, you will be responsible for ensuring customers receive exceptional service while adhering to strict safety and environmental regulations. The position requires physical general labor, including the movement of various container sizes, from 5-gallon pails to 55-gallon drums, using hand carts, drum dollies, and pallet jacks. This role demands stamina and the ability to work 10 to 12-hour days, often requiring a high level of independence and self-motivation.
Safety-Kleen offers a competitive compensation package, including an uncapped commission structure and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for candidates already holding a Class B CDL. The role welcomes applicants with automatic restrictions on their CDL. Working with Safety-Kleen means joining a company that emphasizes safety, environmental responsibility, and customer service excellence. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy the challenge of working on the road, providing technical service, and engaging in sales activities on their route.
By joining Safety-Kleen as a Sales and Service Route Driver, you will be part of a team that makes a tangible difference in protecting the environment and supporting industrial customers across Clackamas and beyond. This position offers both career growth and the opportunity to work in a dynamic, safety-conscious environment where your contributions have a meaningful impact. If you are hardworking, safety-focused, and ready to take on a rewarding role with paid CDL training and significant earning potential, Safety-Kleen welcomes your application.
