The company is currently seeking a Route Sales Professional Express to join its dynamic team. This role offers a weekly base pay of $275 plus commission, translating to an annual average salary of $50,000 to $60,000. The position is structured as a first-shift opening, from 5 am to 3 pm, with weekends off, making for an attractive work-life balance. The role entails merchandising and stocking products while ensuring proper product rotation for freshness and quality. The Route Sales Professional is a critical link between the company and its retail partners, tasked with driving sales through securing new display space, establishing incremental displays, and leveraging sales data to inform strategies at the store level. Additionally, the individual will follow up on new account opportunities, build strong customer relationships, and ensure execution of promotions. The role also requires presenting new products and services to maximize sales and shelf space, both within existing accounts and new customer prospects.

Operational responsibilities for the position include conducting daily route settlement procedures which involve accounting for products, invoices, cash, and inventory management. Safely driving a company route truck while completing Department of Transportation (DOT) daily logs is an essential component of the job. The role requires timely submission of documentation, paperwork, and deposits to maintain smooth operational flow. Beyond the technical and operational expertise, the position demands physical agility to perform routine tasks such as climbing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and kneeling for extended periods, as well as frequent reaching and use of fingers.

Bimbo Bakeries USA values compliance and safety, requiring all Route Sales Professionals to have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, the ability to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card, and, where applicable, obtain a Chauffeur license for certain states such as Indiana, Michigan, and Tennessee. Previous experience in direct sales distribution (DSD) is preferred to help the individual succeed in this fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The company is also an equal opportunity employer dedicated to providing reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities, reinforcing its commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
