We are currently seeking both full-time and part-time Route Drivers for our micro market operations at the Oxnard, California location (121 Bernoulli Circle). This role is vital as the Route Driver serves as the on-the-ground face of Canteen, ensuring our micro markets are well-stocked, clean, operational, and providing excellent customer service to all clients. Offering a competitive pay range between $20.00 and $25.00 per hour, this position includes the opportunity to earn commission, internal employee referral bonuses, and comprehensive benefits. The role offers diverse working schedules: full-time drivers work Sunday through Tuesday, plus Thursday and Friday, with Wednesday and Saturday off, while part-time drivers work weekends from early morning to mid-afternoon.

As a Route Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting products along established routes, maintaining inventory levels, performing routine cleaning and minor maintenance on micro market equipment, and fostering positive customer relationships by addressing complaints and promoting new products. This position demands a high degree of independence, professionalism, and dedication, making it an ideal stepping stone for those looking to advance into management roles within the company. Applicants should have at least three years of driving experience, a valid driver's license, and the physical ability to consistently lift up to 50 pounds. Job Requirements

  • Previous merchandising experience preferred
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Able to lift 50 lbs consistently
  • Minimum three years driving experience
  • Ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices

  • Ability to perform vehicle inspections and minor equipment maintenance

Job Qualifications

  • Three years driving experience
  • Preferred one to two years experience in customer service position or minimum one year related experience
  • Valid non-CDL Class C driver’s license or as indicated by state
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently
  • Ability or willingness to learn material handling equipment
  • Able to work independently and unsupervised

Job Duties

  • Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for micro market
  • Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance
  • Display a clear understanding of company policies and ability to administer as needed
  • Performs routine cleaning and sanitation of micro market and other related equipment
  • Conducts minor service and adjustments on markets and reports defective equipment when necessary
  • Ensure truck is properly loaded with all products before each route
  • Inform clients and customers of new products or services and resolve service complaints
  • Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or distribute promotion materials
  • Accountable for receipt of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash received, and products
  • Conduct inventory reconciliation in accordance with District procedures
  • Keep company vehicle clean and organized
  • perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections
  • Perform all job functions safely and professionally
  • Perform other duties as assigned
