As a Route Coverage Specialist at UniFirst, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining seamless service across multiple delivery routes. This position involves stepping in to cover routes when regular Route Service Representatives are unavailable, ensuring that customers continually receive the high standard of service expected from UniFirst. You will be responsible for learning and managing several routes, safely delivering clean garments, flat goods, and other products, and collecting used or soiled items for timely return. Your role will require excellent problem-solving skills to handle customer requests independently and foster strong relationships through positive communication. The position is dynamic and fast-paced, ideal for individuals who thrive on variety, agility, and autonomy. You will also support operational excellence by managing invoices, conducting inventory audits, and maintaining vehicle safety and appearance. Collaboration with the Service and Management teams is key, including supporting new account installations, assisting Route Service Representatives, and participating in route optimization and collections.
