Row 34 is an award-winning, vibrant neighborhood oyster bar renowned for its dedication to fresh seafood and an extensive oyster program. With multiple locations in Boston's Seaport and Kenmore Square neighborhoods, as well as in Cambridge, Burlington, MA, and Portsmouth, NH, Row 34 has established itself as a culinary destination for seafood lovers. Row 34 Cambridge is currently seeking a Rounds Cook to join its energetic kitchen team. This position is distinctive because it involves working across all kitchen stations, including fry, grill, sauté, raw bar prep, and more. The Rounds Cook plays a critical role in maintaining the consistency and quality of every dish served while supporting the entire kitchen staff during prep and service. This role requires flexibility, speed, precision, and a keen eye for detail to ensure that every guest has a seamless dining experience. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Ability to work standing for extended periods
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Food handler's certification preferred
  • Ability to follow recipes and kitchen protocols effectively

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience working multiple stations in a high-volume kitchen

Job Duties

  • Rotate between all stations in the kitchen, executing dishes to Row 34 standards
  • Support prep and service with precision, speed, and attention to detail
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and adherence to food safety standards
  • Collaborate with fellow cooks and leadership to deliver a seamless guest experience
  • Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed
