The Guest Room Attendant position at Omni Corpus Christi Hotel is a critical role responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort in guest rooms. Attendants play a vital part in ensuring that each guest’s experience is comfortable, welcoming, and spotless. This role involves refreshing rooms for continuing guests as well as performing thorough cleaning for rooms that have been vacated. Responsibilities include making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, restocking supplies, and adhering strictly to Omni’s Safe and Clean processes. Proper communication of room status to management and staff ensures smooth operations and readiness for arriving guests. Guest Room Attendants must maintain professional appearance and behavior consistent with the brand’s standards, and contribute to a safe and organized working environment.

Job Requirements
- Prior housekeeping experience or relevant environmental services experience
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to handle stressful and busy hotel operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Must be punctual and dependable
- Must meet standards of appearance and maintain high personal hygiene
Job Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
- Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance
- Prior housekeeping experience or other relevant environmental services experience
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching overhead, and squatting

- Ability to maintain positive and professional demeanor under stressful and busy hotel operations
- Dependability in reporting to work on time and according to schedule
- High standards of personal hygiene and appearance
Job Duties
- Thoroughly clean guest rooms including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and dusting
- Uphold Omni Safe and Clean processes
- Restock and replace used items within guest rooms
- Communicate clean status of each room upon completion
- Remove room service trays and tables from guest rooms
- Stock supply cart and ensure that it is neat and well organized at all times
- Check all equipment prior to and after use to ensure that it is in good working order
- Maintain a professional, neat and organized appearance according to Omni Corpus Christi Hotel standards
- Respond swiftly and effectively in any emergency or safety situations
- Attend all required department trainings and meetings
- Perform any other duties required by management
