The role we offer is a front desk position within our hotel that plays a crucial role in creating a positive first impression and fostering a welcoming environment for all guests. As a front desk associate, you will be responsible for greeting guests, managing registrations, and providing courteous service that aligns with the hotel’s brand standards and sustainability goals. You will also follow safety guidelines, sustainability practices within our EarthView program, and assist with additional responsibilities such as guest luggage handling or breakfast service during busy periods. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service experience or equivalent training required
- Knowledge of PMS systems preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, push, lift up to 25 pounds, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Availability to work holidays, weekends and alternate shifts
- Ability to follow safety standards and wear protective equipment
- Commitment to sustainability practices
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service experience or equivalent training required
- Knowledge of PMS systems preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner
- Register and assign guests to hotel rooms
- Establish method of payment and verify credit
- Make and confirm reservations
- Compute bills, collect payments, and make change
- Transmit and receive messages using telephones or PMS
- Respond to guest requests and resolve complaints
- Secure guests' valuables in hotel safe or safe-deposit boxes
- Perform bookkeeping activities such as balancing accounts and conducting audits
- Follow sustainability guidelines related to EarthView program
- Assist in breakfast area or with guest luggage during peak periods
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Perform other duties as requested by management
