The role of Room Service Tray Runner within ProHealth Care is an essential part of ensuring patients receive timely and friendly food delivery. This position is scheduled on a pool basis with shifts varying from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm every two weeks, including every other weekend and a rotating holiday schedule. It is a part-time/as-needed role, offering flexibility but does not come with benefits. The role includes responsibilities such as verifying patient diets with two-patient identifiers before delivering food trays, maintaining cleanliness and safety in the work environment, and communicating effectively with supervisors and other staff members.

Room Service Tray Runners perform all necessary duties related to serving food to patients, adhering to scripted communication protocols, and ensuring patient needs are met courteously and efficiently. They handle any inquiries, requests, or complaints in a professional manner and report unresolved issues to management.
