Job Description

Established in 1960, Four Seasons has set the standard for luxury hotels and resorts worldwide, consistently delivering premium accommodations, world-class amenities, and personalized service. The brand prides itself on fostering a culture of respect, innovation, and genuine care for both its guests and employees. With a presence in key locations across the globe, Four Seasons has become synonymous with elegance, sophistication, and comfort.

The Four Seasons New Orleans is situated in a landmark tower along the Mississippi River, offering guests breathtaking riverfront views and easy access to the vibrant downtown area of one of America’s most celebrated cities. This location is known not only for its luxury accommodations but also for its authentic Louisiana cuisine and dynamic event spaces such as the 34th-floor observation deck. Guests experience a blend of classic Southern charm and contemporary luxury, making every visit memorable.

The role of Room Service Server at Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences New Orleans is a vital position within the Food & Beverage Team, serving as a direct point of contact between the hotel and its guests. This full-time position requires a dedicated professional who thrives in a fast-paced luxury environment and is passionate about delivering tailored in-room dining experiences. The server will be responsible for presenting menu items with enthusiasm and detailed knowledge, ensuring timely and accurate order delivery, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality.

As a Room Service Server, you will engage with guests warmly and attentively, anticipating their needs and responding promptly to any requests or concerns. Your role contributes significantly to the guests’ overall experience, often representing the final touchpoint in their dining journey at the hotel. Collaboration with various hotel departments ensures that guests receive amenities and special occasion items that enhance their stay.

This role demands stamina and agility, as it involves continuous standing, moving between guest floors and back-of-house areas, and working flexible shifts that typically span from early morning to late evening, including weekends and holidays. Certification in TIPS and ServSafe is required, demonstrating your commitment to excellence in hygiene, safety, and responsible alcohol service. Knowledge of the MICROS point-of-sale system is preferred, aiding in efficient and accurate transactions.

Four Seasons is committed to creating a rewarding workplace culture that offers mentoring, training, and development opportunities to support your career growth. Employees benefit from comprehensive health insurance plans covering medical, dental, and vision care, as well as a 401k plan with company matching after a brief eligibility period. Additional perks include discounted stays at Four Seasons properties worldwide, paid vacation and holiday time including local holidays like Mardi Gras, complimentary meals, uniform cleaning services, and discounted parking.

Embracing diversity and inclusion, Four Seasons New Orleans encourages applications from minorities, women, veterans, and individuals with disabilities. The hotel fosters an environment where every team member feels valued and empowered to contribute to the hotel’s legacy of delivering luxury service with a genuine heart.
