Job Description

Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld is a distinguished hotel located at 6677 Sea Harbor Dr, Orlando, Florida. Part of the renowned Marriott International portfolio, Renaissance Hotels are celebrated for their unique approach to hospitality that embraces the culture and spirit of the neighborhoods they serve. Renovated and designed to reflect the adventurous spirit of travelers, Renaissance Orlando blends exceptional service with a vibrant atmosphere, appealing to guests who value unique experiences and stories. Marriott International is recognized worldwide for its commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, fostering an environment where associates with diverse backgrounds and talents thrive. The hotel offers a full-time management opportunity with a competitive salary range of $68,000 to $84,000 annually, including eligibility for bonus incentives. This role is not remote, emphasizing an on-site presence to ensure high standards and hands-on leadership in operations.

The Room Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in the seamless execution and management of various rooms area departments including Front Office, Engineering/Maintenance, and Housekeeping. The position involves hands-on leadership and strategic oversight to enhance both guest and employee satisfaction, while driving the financial success of the departments. This management role requires overseeing staff performance, ensuring compliance with operational standards, and motivating teams to deliver exceptional service aligned with Renaissance's brand values. The manager will be responsible for interpreting guest satisfaction data, addressing any issues proactively, and fostering a workplace environment built on empowerment, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include managing daily room operations, implementing guest tracking and productivity goals, and ensuring that all team members are equipped with the skills and knowledge to meet the hotel’s high standards. The role also involves regular communication of goals and performance metrics to staff, conducting quarterly one-on-one meetings, and directly participating in operational tasks as needed. The manager supports the property’s quality and financial audits, manages key control programs, and analyzes financial and performance data to identify areas for improvements and cost reductions.

In addition to operational management, this position requires leading human resource functions such as interviewing candidates, facilitating onboarding and training, administering property policies fairly, and maintaining a positive work culture. The manager promotes an open-door policy to address employee concerns and celebrates team successes to boost morale and foster loyalty.

At Renaissance Hotels, team members are encouraged to be spontaneous explorers who bring the spirit of their neighborhoods to every guest interaction. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a globally recognized hotel brand that values personal growth, cultural diversity, and creating memorable guest experiences. If you are passionate about hospitality and eager to lead a motivated team in a dynamic, guest-focused environment, this role at Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld could be your next career milestone.
