Job Requirements
- One year experience in housekeeping or a related field
- Ability to communicate effectively in the primary workplace language or languages
- Capability to maintain professional and courteous interactions at all times
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting bending and standing for extended periods
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Commitment to adhere to safety standards and confidentiality policies
Job Qualifications
- One year experience working in a housekeeping environment
- Experience in a hotel is a plus
- Must be able to speak read write and understand the primary language or languages used in the workplace
- Exhibits a high level of professionalism in all interactions and situations
- Reliable with a sense of urgency
- Maintains a warm and friendly demeanor
- Maintains regular attendance in compliance with scheduling standards
- Complies with all safety and operational standards and regulations
- Able to maintain confidentiality of information
- Flexible to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
- Maintains high standards of personal appearance and grooming
Job Duties
- Greet customers listen to and understand requests respond with appropriate action and provide accurate information
- Clean and service guest rooms including changing bed linen and making beds sweeping and mopping floors vacuum carpets and rugs empty wastepaper baskets and ashtrays transport dirty linen dust and polish surfaces and furniture replenish bathroom supplies ensure mini bar standards are upheld report any technical issues and maintenance needs
- Return and restock cleaning cart at shift end
- Responsible for courteous efficient response at all times
- Perform any other duties as assigned
