Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in housekeeping or a related hospitality field preferred

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including proper uniform and name tag usage per brand standards
  • comply at all times with Mid-Continent Hospitality standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
  • thoroughly clean and restock the required number of guest rooms per shift
  • complete all pre-cleaning duties including stocking guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up
  • remove all trash and dirty linens from guest rooms
  • keep all hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed
  • clean rooms with doors always closed unless otherwise requested
  • report all missing items from rooms to Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
  • report any maintenance repairs immediately
  • hand all "Lost and Found" items according to standards
  • perform related duties as assigned by Supervisor
