Job Requirements
- Ability to perform major life activities including standing, lifting, bending, learning, reading, concentrating, thinking, and communicating
- Ability to push or pull 60 pounds unassisted and lift or carry 30 pounds unassisted
- Ability to stand for eight hours and perform physical activities including bending, stretching, reaching, crawling, and kneeling
- Ability to see and hear
- Ability to communicate with other associates and guests
- Honesty and trustworthiness to access guestrooms and property
- Successful completion of appropriate security clearances
Job Qualifications
- Prior housekeeping experience in lodging, housing, hotels, hospitals, or care facilities preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to learn and use computer systems such as Quore and Hotel Effectiveness
- Ability to communicate professionally with guests and co-workers
- Knowledge of guestroom cleaning procedures and safety standards
Job Duties
- Provides excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous, professional manner
- Follows all cleaning procedures outlined in the housekeeping training checklist
- Cleans vacant dirty rooms and returns occupied dirty rooms to occupied clean status as per brand standards
- Maintains professional appearance adhering to grooming and uniform standards
- Assists in maintaining other hotel areas such as breakroom, restrooms, public areas, stairwells, and back of house clean and orderly
- Reports discrepancies and hazardous conditions to supervisors
- Responds promptly to guest requests and inquiries
- Follows general clean procedures every 90 days
