The Hampton Inn Lexington located at 3060 Lakecrest Circle, Lexington, KY 40513, is currently seeking a dedicated Room Attendant. This hourly position is integral to maintaining the hotel’s commitment to cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The Room Attendant will play a vital role in ensuring guestrooms are cleaned thoroughly to the highest standards while delivering attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests. Responsibilities include pre-cleaning duties such as stocking supplies, ensuring cleanliness in all guest and public areas, restocking housekeeping carts, reporting missing items and maintenance needs, and handling lost and found items per hotel policies. The role requires a proactive approach toward maintaining the hotel’s appearance and ensuring an exceptional experience for guests, making the Room Attendant an essential part of the Hampton Inn Lexington team. This role demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and colleagues, contributing to the overall positive image and smooth operation of the hotel.

Job Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds frequently or constantly
Ability to stand during entire shift
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interact courteously and attentively with all levels of employees and guests

Job Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience in a hotel or related field preferred
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with employees and guests
Friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner
Ability to stand for entire shift

Job Duties

Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards
Complete all pre-cleaning duties including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up
Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways
Keep hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed
Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day use
Replenish chemical bottles
Report all missing items from room to Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
Handle items for Lost and Found according to standards
Ensure overall guest satisfaction
