The Cove at Rockport is a charming 21-room boutique hotel located in the picturesque town of Rockport, Massachusetts. We are currently seeking a dedicated part-time housekeeper to join our team and uphold the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction synonymous with The Cove at Rockport. This role is integral to ensuring that each guest's stay is comfortable, welcoming, and memorable. Working approximately 15-18 hours per week, primarily during weekday mornings from 9:30 am to about 3 pm, this position requires flexibility with weekend and holiday availability. The hours may increase during the high season from May to September when guest volume spikes.

The housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining a pristine environment throughout the hotel. This includes cleaning guest rooms, restrooms, and common areas such as the lobby and corridors. Essential duties involve vacuuming, mopping, making beds, dusting, polishing furniture, restocking toiletries, and doing laundry. Attention to detail is critical, as the housekeeper must track rooms cleaned, document lost and found items, note any damages, and report repairs needed. Additionally, the housekeeper will assist guests by answering general questions about hotel services and local attractions, as well as helping them understand how to use technological amenities like door locks and HVAC controls.

Beyond the regular cleaning tasks, the housekeeper may also perform extra cleaning duties, including deep cleaning, window washing, and steam cleaning to maintain the hotel's sparkling reputation. We seek a cleaning enthusiast who is highly organized, a team player, and has a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will be proficient with technology, comfortable using apps, phones, and keypads, supporting our commitment to delivering a seamless guest experience.

This role offers competitive hourly compensation ranging from $18 to $20, reflecting the importance of quality housekeeping to our overall guest satisfaction.
