The Roaming Front of House Leader role at Dish Society is pivotal for maintaining and elevating these high standards across multiple restaurant locations in the Houston area. This full-time position demands open availability and a flexible mindset as the leader will support various locations each week, adapting swiftly to different teams and operational needs. Serving as a bridge between the front and back of the house, the Roaming Leader ensures smooth daily operations, fosters team cohesion, and upholds the Dish Society culture irrespective of the location. Responsibilities include actively leading shifts from open to close, delivering hands-on support to FOH and BOH teams, and executing excellent guest service practices.
This leadership position requires someone passionate about hospitality and skilled in multitasking to juggle duties such as managing floor operations, assisting with food and drink service, and coaching team members in real time. The Roaming Leader acts as a cultural ambassador, promoting consistency in service quality, operational procedures, and company values across multiple sites. They must be adept in POS systems, cash handling, and shift reconciliation while fostering a positive and professional work environment. Physical requirements include the ability to stand and walk for long periods and safely lift up to 25 pounds.

Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have open availability including mornings evenings weekends and holidays
- Comfortable commuting between store locations during the week
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Must have or be able to obtain Food Manager Certification prior to training completion
- Must have or be able to obtain TABC Certification prior to hire
- Calm under pressure and strong in conflict resolution
- Deep love for hospitality and creating great guest experiences
- High attention to cleanliness detail and presentation
- Willingness to travel between stores and represent the Dish Society brand consistently
Job Qualifications
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Proficient in POS systems cash handling and shift reconciliation
- Strong understanding of guest service principles and problem-solving
- Ability to lead and support both new and tenured team members across multiple teams
- Knowledge of shift management processes and restaurant operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work well with both FOH and BOH teams
- Comfortable taking direction while also stepping up to offer ideas and solutions
Job Duties
- Support multiple locations each week based on business needs
- Lead shifts alongside FOH and BOH teams ensuring smooth operations from open to close
- Communicate clearly and effectively across different teams and store cultures
- Act as a culture carrier helping instill consistency in service operations and values across locations
- Jump into all areas of the floor including running food making drinks guest recovery and more
- Assist the kitchen when needed by managing expo helping on the pass and communicating guest needs
- Deliver real-time coaching and leadership for FOH team members
- Identify opportunities for support and improvements while adapting quickly to different teams and environments
- Maintain high standards for cleanliness organization and guest experience across every location
