The position available is a nursing leadership role responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of nursing personnel in one or more patient care units. This position ensures that patients' needs are consistently met while evaluating the nursing care quality and unit performance. In this capacity, the nurse supervisor plays a crucial role in planning unit workloads, coordinating inter-departmental activities, and fostering a collaborative work environment that prioritizes patient safety and care effectiveness. The role also involves planning and organizing educational and training programs for nursing staff to continuously enhance their knowledge and skills.
Ideal candidates will have a California RN license and hold certifications such as ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and MICN. Candidates are also expected to have more than five years of emergency room experience and charge nurse experience to ensure readiness for the complex demands of supervising nursing personnel in a hospital setting. Salary ranges from $53.73 to $85.94 hourly, with exact wages tailored to qualifications and experience.
