Job Description

Maxim Healthcare is a nationally recognized healthcare provider dedicated to offering high-quality nursing and caregiving services across the United States. For over 30 years, Maxim Healthcare has been committed to improving the lives of patients, caregivers, employees, and communities through a comprehensive range of home healthcare solutions. The company specializes in private duty nursing, skilled nursing, physical rehabilitation, companion care, respite care, and behavioral care for individuals facing chronic and acute illnesses and disabilities. Maxim Healthcare's core values center around compassionate patient care, quality customer service, and being a reliable healthcare partner whenever and wherever care is needed. Their extensive experience and reputation have made them a trusted leader in the home health industry, catering to diverse patient needs in both pediatric and adult populations.

Currently, Maxim Healthcare is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide skilled nursing services to pediatric and adult patients in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes, specifically on Joint Base Lewis-McChord. This opportunity offers part-time, full-time, day shift, and night shift availability, providing flexibility to accommodate various schedules. Nurses hired for this role will be working one-on-one with patients, ensuring personalized and focused care delivery. Additionally, Maxim Healthcare offers robust professional development programs such as the paid skilled advancement and Novice Nurse programs. These initiatives are designed to enhance clinical skills in critical areas including airway management, feeding tubes, total parenteral nutrition (TPN), and other complex nursing interventions.

The hourly pay ranges between $42 and $50, reflecting the specialized skills and experience required for this role. Maxim Healthcare values its nursing staff by offering competitive compensation alongside weekly paychecks, ensuring timely financial rewards. Employees also gain access to a comprehensive benefits package that supports their health, wellness, and financial security. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, health savings accounts, life insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) savings plan. Additionally, employees may participate in the Maxcares Awards Program, recognizing outstanding contributions and promoting a supportive work environment.

The role of Registered Nurse involves utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care effectively. Nurses initiate and manage individualized care plans aligned with physician directives and patient needs, incorporating therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions. They monitor and document patient responses to medications and treatments, intervene promptly when changes in patient conditions occur, and collaborate with healthcare providers for necessary plan adjustments. Further responsibilities include educating patients and families, coordinating care, setting goals, and assisting with discharge planning. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to make a tangible difference in patients' lives while working within a supportive and professional healthcare organization.
