Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Nursing (BSN)
- Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
- BLS (CPR) certification from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience as a Registered Nurse
- At least 3 years RN experience in related Expediter roles such as Emergency, PCU/ICU, Procedural Areas (PACU, Short Stay, Endoscopy)

Job Duties
- Apply knowledge of healthcare systems, resources, and patient needs to guide patients through their medical journey, ensuring access to necessary services and support
- Expedite, prioritize, synchronize, and mediate (in real time) clinical issues, remove barriers to discharge and address delays in care
- Identify potential issues so staff can prioritize patient-care activities and discharges and mitigate potential bottlenecks before they occur
- Confer with multidisciplinary teams to identify effective strategies/approaches to reduce patient length of stay, handle complex discharges, conditional discharge orders and related issues ensuring patients have a safe discharge
- Perform other duties as assigned
