Job Requirements
- Obtain and maintain current food handlers card
- previous management related experience preferred but not required
- ability to accurately work with numbers and menu specifications
- excellent customer service and communication skills
- flexible schedule including mornings, days, evenings, weekends and holidays required
- ability to remain calm and focused in a high volume, deadline oriented work environment
- ability to safely lift and carry heavy objects with assistance if necessary
- value diversity and ability to work with individuals from different backgrounds
- ability to manage others positively and professionally
- willingness to work long periods standing and perform repetitive movements
- ability to handle sharp objects and chemicals responsibly
- provide excellent customer service to guests
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in kitchen or restaurant management preferred but not required
- strong customer service and communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
- experience with scheduling and labor management
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- familiarity with inventory and kitchen organization
- valid food handler's card or ability to obtain one
Job Duties
- Oversee and supervise kitchen staff during shifts
- train new cooks and staff on proper procedures
- enforce portion control and quality standards
- communicate effectively with head management
- maintain cleanliness and organization of service and work areas
- regulate labor and oversee side work assignments
- perform administrative duties such as scheduling and payroll as assigned
- address and resolve personnel and customer service issues promptly
- produce high-quality food in a timely manner
- assist in problem-solving and operational troubleshooting during shifts
