Job Requirements

  • Obtain and maintain current food handlers card
  • previous management related experience preferred but not required
  • ability to accurately work with numbers and menu specifications
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • flexible schedule including mornings, days, evenings, weekends and holidays required
  • ability to remain calm and focused in a high volume, deadline oriented work environment
  • ability to safely lift and carry heavy objects with assistance if necessary
  • value diversity and ability to work with individuals from different backgrounds
  • ability to manage others positively and professionally
  • willingness to work long periods standing and perform repetitive movements
  • ability to handle sharp objects and chemicals responsibly
  • provide excellent customer service to guests

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in kitchen or restaurant management preferred but not required
  • strong customer service and communication skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
  • experience with scheduling and labor management
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • familiarity with inventory and kitchen organization
  • valid food handler's card or ability to obtain one

Job Duties

  • Oversee and supervise kitchen staff during shifts
  • train new cooks and staff on proper procedures
  • enforce portion control and quality standards
  • communicate effectively with head management
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of service and work areas
  • regulate labor and oversee side work assignments
  • perform administrative duties such as scheduling and payroll as assigned
  • address and resolve personnel and customer service issues promptly
  • produce high-quality food in a timely manner
  • assist in problem-solving and operational troubleshooting during shifts
