Job Duties

  • lead mattress firm's vision and company initiatives across multiple store units
  • achieve sales performance goals and hold associates accountable for in-store merchandising execution
  • lead selling programs and drive key performance indicator results
  • support the omni-channel customer experience
  • conduct one-on-one meetings to understand team motivations and aspirations
  • develop and update comprehensive team bio book
  • perform 30-60-90-day check-ins with new team members
  • manage workforce activities including store staffing schedules and punch reconciliation
  • ensure compliance with company policies and state regulations
  • maintain professional communication and represent the company brand
  • follow procedures for product transfers and inventory documentation
  • analyze staffing levels and collaborate with leadership for adjustments
  • provide technical and product knowledge training and serve as a subject matter expert
  • identify skill gaps and deliver coaching to associates
  • achieve or exceed financial targets through effective customer service
  • ensure store merchandising, marketing, and promotional standards
  • partner with marketing for social media strategy and implementation
  • oversee opening and closing procedures
  • manage and review stock inventory levels and merchandise flow
  • handle cash and payment acceptance following company policies
  • adhere to sales processing policies for accurate invoicing
  • execute company initiatives and additional activities as requested
