The Verizon Retail Sales Associate role is an exciting full-time opportunity designed for individuals passionate about technology and motivated by customer service and sales success. The position offers competitive base pay from $16.00 to $21.00 per hour, with significant additional earning potential through individual-based commissions, sometimes exceeding $18,000 annually for achieving sales goals. Top performers have the opportunity to earn total annual compensation upwards of $75,500, depending on geography, hours worked, and individual performance. New hires are also eligible for a $2,500 sign-on bonus, subject to terms and conditions.

This role involves engaging with customers in-store and at community events, continuously developing skills through training, and contributing to the overall growth of Verizon’s customer base. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One or more years of relevant experience
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Openness to pick up additional shifts to earn more income
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers
  • Basic knowledge of sales and customer service principles
  • Ability to work onsite at defined locations
  • Commitment to learning and development

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One or more years of relevant experience through work or military service
  • Experience working in a commission-based environment (preferred)
  • Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions (preferred)
  • Customer service experience (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Willingness to pick up additional shifts during peak periods

Job Duties

  • Generate retail sales by using your passion for cutting-edge technology and exceptional customer service to expand the Verizon network
  • Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions
  • Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top-down sales solution
  • Close sales by using phenomenal communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions
  • Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up-skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory
  • Potential to grow your customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers who are interested in our products and services
  • Opportunities to engage with the community outside of the store to expand your loyal customer base, including at off-site Verizon sponsored events
