This position is responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards and overseeing associates to ensure efficient and effective merchandise processing. The role requires managing the flow of goods from truck delivery to the sales floor, maintaining store organization and cleanliness, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience by engaging with customers and leading by example in customer service. This leadership role involves mentoring associates, ensuring adherence to established principles for tagging, hanging, and coding merchandise, and maintaining high standards for backroom organization and recycling programs.

Job Duties
- Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
- promotes a culture of honesty and integrity
- orchestrates truck delivery and prioritizes merchandise processing
- trains and mentors associates on merchandising and processing principles
- ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
- communicates with the Coordinator on Duty for efficient flow of goods
- ensures associates complete tasks according to store plan
- monitors team productivity and coaches as necessary
- organizes and rotates back stock
- maintains merchandising philosophy and signage standards
- upholds organizational, cleanliness and recovery standards in the backroom
- ensures compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs
- communicates effectively with management and associates
- provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback
- partners with management on associate training
- ensures adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures
- promotes credit and loyalty programs
- supports store shrink reduction goals
- promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
- performs other duties as assigned
