Job Duties
- Follows instructions of supervisors and assists other team members in performing store functions
- Assists in the training of store team members
- Demonstrates consultative behaviors to understand each customer’s individualized needs
- Provides expertise in printing, signs, graphics, and shipping product lines and recommends appropriate FedEx Office products and services
- Provides outstanding customer service by anticipating needs, suggesting alternatives, and finding solutions
- Resolves customer problems quickly and satisfactorily
- Takes complex customer orders with accurate pricing
- Assembles parcels and prepares goods for shipping including wrapping, weighing, and labeling packages
- Sets up and operates printing, binding, and related equipment
- Maintains a safe, clean, and orderly retail store environment
- Ensures confidentiality of customer data and careful handling of documents and packages
- Processes financial transactions including cash handling using POS systems
- Cleans, repairs, and stocks retail equipment and supplies
- Ensures proper merchandising and product display
- Takes preemptive action to prevent errors and waste
- Completes financial paperwork and assists with financial reporting
