Founded in Chicago over 40 years ago as a delicatessen, the company has since grown exponentially and now operates in more than 200 venues nationwide, offering a unique blend of creativity, custom strategies, impeccable service, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. Levy's commitment to diversity, inclusion, and team collaboration creates a dynamic and supportive work environment where employees can thrive and grow professionally.

Levy at Churchill Downs is currently seeking seasonal, part-time Restaurants Supervisors to join their team for the Spring, Summer, and Fall Racing Meets. Churchill Downs, famously known as the home of the Kentucky Derby, is a historic and iconic venue where over 150,000 guests annually gather to witness one of America’s greatest sporting events. The venue hosts multiple racing meets including the September Racing Meet with Twilight Thursday Racing and Downs After Dark events, the Fall Racing Meet encompassing Thanksgiving and Black Friday festivities, and the prominent Spring Racing Meet featuring the Kentucky Oaks and the Kentucky Derby.

The Restaurants Supervisor role is integral to ensuring that the food and beverage services at Churchill Downs meet Levy's high standards. This position provides first-level supervision over food, beverage, and meal services while also overseeing production to guarantee quality, taste, presentation, and timely delivery. Supervisors are responsible for managing daily operations by reviewing menus and production needs, monitoring staff adherence to protocols and safety standards, assessing guest satisfaction, enforcing sanitation and cleanliness procedures, and maintaining strong communication within their team. The role offers competitive hourly wages ranging from $18.00 to $20.00 based on experience, making it an attractive opportunity for individuals eager to learn, grow, and be part of a dedicated team during one of the most thrilling sporting seasons in the country.

Levy emphasizes a culture of diversity of thought and inclusion, inviting candidates from all backgrounds to embark on a rewarding journey with the company. Employees enjoy great perks such as Instapay, early access to wages through the EVEN app, and access to a variety of benefit programs that enhance overall wellbeing. As a member of Compass Group USA, Levy is committed to fair treatment of its associates and applicants regardless of race, national origin, gender, disability, or any other legally protected classification. Supervisors will play an essential role in upholding Levy’s standards and contributing to memorable experiences for the large volume of guests at Churchill Downs during the racing season. This position offers a unique chance to work at a historic venue known for hospitality, teamwork, and excellence in foodservice delivery.
