The role of Restaurant Zone Manager is a pivotal management position within our establishments. This role is designed for individuals eager to lead and support the operational functions of one restaurant zone during shifts. The Restaurant Zone Manager collaborates closely with the Restaurant Leader to uphold Raising Cane's high standards and culture, embracing responsibilities that span from customer interaction to crew management. This role demands a hands-on approach, frequently working in dynamic kitchen environments that entail physical exertion such as walking, standing, lifting, and bending. Both indoor and outdoor tasks are involved, often demanding adaptability across various temperatures and working conditions. The Restaurant Zone Manager must navigate a fast-paced setting using industrial equipment and commercial cleaning products safely and effectively, adhering to all protective measures.
In this capacity, you will be instrumental in enforcing company policies, managing safety protocols, and ensuring operational excellence. You will utilize specialized tools, documentation, and management techniques to maintain a seamless flow of restaurant activities, including shift execution and addressing any discrepancies promptly. Leadership is a fundamental aspect of this role, as directing crewmembers and fostering a culture of exceptional customer service is critical. Additional responsibilities include monitoring restaurant cleanliness, authorizing employee discounts and promotions, and executing incentive programs tailored to crew motivation and reward.
This position calls for a detail-oriented, organized professional capable of managing multiple priorities amidst a changing environment. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, energetic, and demonstrates excellent communication skills. Flexibility in work hours, including availability for day, evening, and weekend shifts, as well as willingness to travel for training or other work-related functions, is essential. We value candidates with at least one year of restaurant or retail management experience or those with advanced crew experience at Raising Cane's. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and all new hires must complete designated company training programs.

Job Duties
- enforce Raising Cane's policies and standards
- manage assigned restaurant zone operations and safety
- use required tools, forms, and logs to support shift execution
- document results and take corrective action as needed
- direct crewmembers during shifts
- provide exemplary customer service
- support execution of reward and recognition programs
- authorize employee functions requiring managerial approval
- ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the restaurant
- complete other duties as assigned
