Zaxbys is currently looking to expand their team by hiring Restaurant Utility Workers. These team members play a crucial role in the daily operations of the restaurant by ensuring the upkeep, cleanliness, and maintenance of the facility and its equipment. This position is vital to maintaining the high standards that Zaxbys is known for, contributing directly to an exceptional dining experience for guests. The role involves various cleaning duties including daily cleaning tasks, deep cleaning, and scheduled preventative maintenance. It also requires basic repair skills such as minor lighting fixes and equipment inspections to diagnose any malfunctions. Utility Workers are expected to work safely and efficiently within a team-oriented workplace, adhering to all safety procedures and operational standards.

Job Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
Must have reliable transportation
Part-time availability from 9 to 28 hours per week
Full-time availability from 32 to 40 hours per week
Ability to work flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Possess leadership qualities, organizational skills, and cooperative interaction with others
Ability to sit, stand, and walk continuously
Occasionally stoop, bend, crouch, or climb including the use of ladders
Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds including lifting overhead
Continuous use of hands and wrists for grasping and fine manipulation
Communicate proficiently through speech, reading, and writing
Maintain effective audio-visual discrimination and perception to observe and respond to the environment
Work indoors and outdoors with exposure to temperature variations and allergens
Operate and work safely with restaurant equipment including knives and fryers

Job Duties

Complete all training requirements required by Zax LLC
Oversee the location to provide a safe, clean, and well maintained environment
Perform scheduled and unscheduled day to day cleaning duties and basic maintenance of restaurant
Perform regular cleaning and preventative maintenance on all restaurant equipment
Inspect, operate, or test equipment to diagnose malfunctions
Oversee the repair of minor lighting issues
General cleaning tasks to include deep cleaning, pressure washing inside and outside of the location
