Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years experience in restaurant support in fast-casual or quick-service environments
  • strong knowledge of modern POS systems including Toast, Brink, and Qu
  • experience with third-party delivery integrations and mobile ordering solutions
  • demonstrated ability to manage tech rollouts, vendor relationships, and field support
  • experience with system administration, network setup, and hardware troubleshooting
  • highly organized and adaptable
  • excellent communication and self-motivation skills
  • ability to travel occasionally to restaurant locations
  • availability during extended or non-standard hours for critical system issues
  • participation in rotating on-call schedule
  • ability to sit for prolonged periods working on a computer
  • ability to lift 35 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in restaurant technology support, preferably in fast-casual or quick-service settings
  • strong knowledge of modern POS systems such as Toast, Brink, and Qu
  • experience with third-party delivery integrations and mobile ordering solutions

Job Duties

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues involving POS systems, KDS screens, networking, phone systems, and online ordering platforms
  • support field and franchise locations by collaborating with the IT team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • optimize and evolve IT standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and consistency across all locations
  • research and evaluate new restaurant technologies that can enhance guest experiences, streamline operations, or reduce costs
  • collaborate with marketing and operations teams to plan and execute tech solutions for major promotions
  • coordinate with vendors to prepare and stage systems for new store openings and perform onsite installation and configuration of technology
  • lead with purpose by demonstrating integrity, accountability, and passion for the company’s mission and values
  • flexibly assist with other technology-related projects and initiatives as needed
