This position focuses on delivering excellent customer service and high-quality food products at Whataburger in Greensboro, NC. As a team member, you will be responsible for preparing orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring every customer receives a product made fresh with the highest quality ingredients. You will work collaboratively with other staff to maintain a smooth workflow and ensure quick service times consistent with company standards. Your duties will include food preparation, stocking stations, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, and participating actively in sales promotions and marketing events. Adherence to food safety and company guidelines is paramount to guarantee customer satisfaction and the safety of all products served. This role also involves handling cash according to established policies and maintaining equipment and utensils to company standards. Job Requirements

  • Prior experience in fast food or food service preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Good communication skills

Job Duties

  • Ensures all products are prepared according to quality standards, as ordered, and delivered to the customer within Whataburger service time standards
  • Supports food production through the preparation and stocking of various food items
  • Performs maintenance tasks as scheduled or assigned
  • Actively participates in all current sales promotions/marketing events during work time
  • Operates all designated food production or customer service stations
  • Learns and applies the correct location for all items stored and used such as food products, paper products, cleaning supplies
  • Stocks the drink, fry, and dining room stations and grill area to assure continuous service is maintained
  • Demonstrates knowledge of proper storage procedures upon delivery of all produce items and practices First-In/First Out (FIFO)
  • Efficiently prepares all produce items to maintain proper par levels using proper food handling, rotation (FIFO), and storage procedures
  • Follows established recipes for preparing and serving Whataburger's products
  • Maintains all utensils and food production equipment in good working order by using correct cleaning, sharpening, and storage procedures at all times
  • Cleans the customer service areas including outside landscaping, building entrances, dining tables, condiment stations, restrooms, and food production and storage units
  • Supports customer service by stocking stations with an appropriate number of items to ensure continuous service
  • Follows company cash handling policies
