This position is an entry-level, non-exempt, hourly role that involves working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to perform various workstation duties. Team Members are responsible for preparing ingredients, making quality products like pizzas, taking customer orders, and delivering friendly and efficient service either over the phone or in person. Employees are expected to support the team by being punctual, assisting across workstations when needed, and completing closing tasks such as cleaning and organizing the workspace. This role requires adhering to uniform and appearance policies as outlined in the company’s Operations Manual and Team Member Handbook, while strictly following safety, security, and sanitation guidelines.

Beyond basic food preparation and order processing, Team Members at Papa John's play an active role in enhancing the customer experience by suggesting additional menu items to increase sales and contribute to overall revenue goals. The position demands a strong attention to detail, a commitment to team collaboration, and the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure. Team Members use the company’s FOCUS System to manage transactions accurately and ensure the company’s assets are protected through responsible cash handling and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

In addition to the physical demands of the job, including standing for long periods, lifting heavy items, and working in various environmental conditions, this role also requires emotional intelligence and a customer-centric attitude. Individuals must demonstrate strong work habits such as dependability, initiative, flexibility, and a team-oriented mindset to succeed. The position is designed for individuals aged 16 and older and includes scheduled or unscheduled shifts covering nights, weekends, and occasional emergency coverage.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • ability to perform assigned workstation duties effectively
  • capable of standing for prolonged periods
  • able to lift and move items up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally over 51 pounds
  • good manual dexterity and physical stamina
  • ability to work scheduled and unscheduled shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
  • willingness to comply with federal, state, and local laws and ordinances
  • able to follow safety, security, and sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • Perform assigned workstation duties including making quality products
