This role at Papa John's involves performing assigned workstation duties to ensure that quality products and exceptional service are consistently delivered to customers. This position is essential in supporting the overall customer experience by providing positive interactions with guests, whether by phone or in person, and acting with urgency to meet service expectations.

The team member will be responsible for a variety of tasks such as preparing ingredients, making pizza products, taking orders accurately, and participating in closing duties which include cleaning and organizing the workspace. A strong emphasis is placed on teamwork, punctuality, and supporting colleagues to maintain smooth operations during shifts. Additionally, this role requires the precise handling of cash and processing transactions using the company’s PROFIT system. The ability to suggestively sell products is encouraged to help increase sales and enhance the overall customer experience.

Physical demands of the job include standing for long periods, repetitive use of hands and fingers, and the ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, occasionally more. The working environment may include exposure to outdoor elements, noise, equipment, and odors related to food preparation. Due to the nature of the position, candidates must be 18 years or older to perform specific duties such as pizza loading, oven tending, and delivery. Delivery drivers must possess a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of insurance.

Job Requirements

  • must be 18 years of age or older
  • ability to stand for prolonged periods
  • ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • availability to work scheduled or unscheduled shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • possess valid driver's license and motor vehicle insurance if performing delivery duties
  • compliance with uniform and appearance standards
  • ability to follow federal, state, and local laws and ordinances
  • good physical condition to perform repetitive hand use and physical tasks
  • able to operate point-of-sale systems

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
