Currently, Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Front of the House Restaurant Supervisor to work at Niagara Falls State Park, located in Niagara Falls, New York. The Restaurant Supervisor role is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality, guest service, and team leadership. Job Requirements
- Ability to lift or carry 50 pounds
- ability to stand or walk 100 percent of the time
- possible exposure to high volume of noise
Job Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience preferred
- minimum of 2 years supervisory experience preferred
- excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- excellent customer service and employee relation skills
- must adhere to company uniform standards and grooming guidelines
- must be self motivated, able to work without direct supervision, accept challenges, and embrace new opportunities
Job Duties
- Assign duties to scheduled front of the house team members
- perform service tasks such as clearing tables, serving food and drinks, seating guests, and bartending duties when necessary
- investigate and resolve situations regarding food quality, service, or accommodations
- help assign server sections and side jobs for each shift
- review work procedures and operational initiatives to improve service, performance, or safety
- assist Restaurant Manager with team member trainings and pre shift meetings
- help manager and event captain with catering events
- assist manager with month end inventories
- monitor daily and hourly cleaning
- ensure proper cash handling and tip record keeping for shift
