Job Description
White Lodging is a leading hospitality company that develops and operates a portfolio of award-winning, premium-brand hotels, rooftop bars, and restaurants located in some of the most desirable cities across the United States. With a strong commitment to excellence, White Lodging focuses on creating memorable guest experiences by paying attention to how people feel during their interactions. The company is recognized for its dedication to high-quality service, innovation, and fostering a dynamic work environment where employees can thrive and grow.
The role of Restaurant Supervisor at White Lodging offers a unique opportunity to lead daily operations in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant setting. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be directly involved in overseeing service execution, guiding the team through hands-on leadership, and ensuring that all White Lodging service standards are consistently met. This position is integral to maintaining smooth operations, enhancing guest satisfaction, and promoting an engaging team culture that reflects the company’s values.
In this role, you will manage key elements such as dining times, seating rotations, and shift capacities, making sure that each aspect of restaurant service runs efficiently. Your leadership will extend to scheduling associates in alignment with staffing forecasts, handling associate documentation including performance reviews and evaluations, and fostering teamwork and accountability through effective communication and coaching. The role also requires you to implement and uphold all training and certification standards as set by White Lodging, ensuring a consistent and high-quality guest experience.
Candidates for this position should bring a solid background in restaurant management or supervision, preferably within a high-volume environment. Strong organizational skills, planning abilities, and team development experience are essential to succeed in this role. Proficiency in common business software such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and the Micros POS system is also required to effectively manage day-to-day operations. The role demands excellent customer focus and problem-solving skills, along with the physical ability to lift or carry up to 40 pounds and adapt to varying environmental conditions in a restaurant setting. While a college degree is preferred, relevant experience and demonstrated leadership capabilities can also qualify candidates.
White Lodging offers comprehensive benefits from day one, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid parental leave, paid time off with rollover options, and a 401(k) plan with company matching contributions. Additional perks include life and disability insurance, the option for DailyPay, complimentary wellness tools, unlimited referral bonuses, leadership development opportunities, tuition reimbursement, and discounts across its portfolio of hotels, dining venues, and entertainment experiences. With multiple hotels in each market, employees have ample opportunities for growth and career advancement within the company.
By joining White Lodging as a Restaurant Supervisor, you become part of a diverse and inclusive company culture that values each associate and fosters personal and professional development. The company stands as an equal opportunity employer that promotes diversity and inclusivity in its workforce, making it an excellent choice for individuals seeking to build a rewarding career in hospitality management.
