The Food and Beverage division plays a crucial role in revenue generation, supporting not only day-to-day dining but also club events, private parties, weddings, and special occasions.
The role of Restaurant Supervisor is integral to maintaining the high service standards for which Coral Ridge Yacht Club is known. This position is a hands-on leadership role overseeing front-of-house operations during assigned shifts to ensure seamless service delivery for members and guests. The Restaurant Supervisor works closely with the management team to lead staff, uphold service excellence, address member needs promptly, and ensure overall operational efficiency in the restaurant. The position offers competitive remuneration starting at $26.00 per hour and requires flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. This role is based on-site at the club, allowing direct interaction with members and employees.

Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of restaurant, hospitality, country club, hotel, or related food & beverage experience
- Previous supervisory or lead experience
- Ability to work a varying schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Current food safety certification preferred
- Current alcoholic beverage certification preferred
- Current CPR certification preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of emergency procedures
- Strong organizational skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of restaurant, hospitality, country club, hotel, or related food & beverage experience preferred
- Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred
- Three years’ private club dining experience preferred
- Current food safety certification preferred
- Current alcoholic beverage certification preferred
- Current CPR certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of restaurant service standards and front-of-house operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional during high-volume service periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions within established guidelines
- Knowledge of POS systems and standard restaurant technology preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) and databased programs required
- Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate with all department levels and all members and guests required
- Knowledge of and ability to perform required role in emergency situations required
- Ability to work a varying schedule based on the clubs’ needs required
Job Duties
- Provide warm, professional, and personalized service to members and guests
- Recognize members by name and learn their preferences
- Anticipate member needs and create a positive dining experience
- Maintain a visible presence on the floor throughout the shift
- Address service concerns and resolve member and guest complaints professionally
- Maintain strong knowledge of the menu, beverages, specials, events, and club offerings
- Direct and support front-of-house employees during assigned shifts
