The Shift Supervisor role at Peter Piper Pizza is essential in upholding the brand’s high standards for guest hospitality and operational excellence. This position involves contributing to the execution of restaurant operations by ensuring guests receive outstanding service, high-quality food products, and enjoy a clean and safe environment. The Shift Supervisor acts as a leader and mentor within the team, coaching and developing Team Members, Certified Trainers, Team Leads, and Key Holders. They play a critical role in maintaining smooth restaurant operations, managing labor costs, controlling food waste, and ensuring profitability. The position also includes operational duties such as opening and closing the restaurant, assigning daily tasks, and enforcing compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • must have a high school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
  • 6 months of supervisory, lead or training experience preferably within the restaurant or hospitality industry or equivalent combination of relevant supervisory, lead or training experience and industry experience
  • basic computer skills

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 18 years of age

Job Duties

  • Open and close the restaurant by following the appropriate checklists
  • ensure the profitability of the restaurant through various means including sales, control of labor costs, and food waste
  • model and reinforce guest hospitality expectations
  • train, coach and develop Team Members
  • ensure all Team Members adhere to rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • maintain a safe working environment for all Team Members and guests
  • assign daily tasks to Team Members and follow-up
