Job Description
It all began with a single family-owned restaurant and the vision to give people something special: a connection to seafood and the coast. Over fifty years later, this company has grown into a family of over 500 restaurants, each one an extension of that founding passion. Known for delivering memorable dining experiences, this establishment prides itself on being more than just a place to eat and work. It is an integral part of the communities it serves, where new friends become familiar faces and every guest is treated like family. The restaurant has a rich heritage of serving high-quality seafood and offering an inviting atmosphere that makes every meal an occasion to remember.
The role of Busser/Runner is a key position that supports the smooth operation of the restaurant. This is a full-time or part-time employment opportunity with competitive wages and weekly pay. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring guests receive prompt and courteous service by assisting servers and maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the dining area. Flexible scheduling allows employees to balance work life and personal commitments effectively. The position offers options for medical, dental, and vision insurance starting at less than $10 per week, along with life insurance, short-term disability, and voluntary benefits to support employees' well-being.
A 401(k) retirement savings plan with a company match is available after one year of service, encouraging long-term financial security. Employees also enjoy discounted shift meals and a 25% discount when dining as a guest, promoting a positive team culture. Career growth is strongly supported through training and advancement opportunities, making this role ideal for those looking to build a career in the restaurant industry. The Busser/Runner position requires physical stamina, as it involves moving about the restaurant and standing for 8 to 12-hour shifts. Reasonable accommodations are provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the role successfully.
