Job Description
Shake Shack is a renowned hospitality brand that began as a humble hot dog cart in New York City's Madison Square Park. Founded by Danny Meyer, Founder and CEO of Union Square Hospitality Group and author of the best-selling book Setting the Table, Shake Shack has grown into one of the fastest-growing names in the hospitality industry. The company holds a deep commitment to community involvement and quality service, originally donating all cart proceeds back to the park's beautification efforts. Over time, the temporary cart evolved into a permanent stand and subsequently a globally recognized restaurant brand. Known for its high-quality food and exceptional hospitality, Shake Shack continues to stand for something good by fostering an inclusive, supportive work environment and prioritizing its communities and team members.
The role on offer is a leadership position within Shake Shack's restaurant team, focused on managing the flow of service and leading a team of hourly team members during shifts. This position is designed for individuals passionate about hospitality who can uphold the brand's stringent standards of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed. The role includes operational support duties like purchasing, receiving, and inventory management, and involves direct participation in applicant interviews and employee relations. Joining Shake Shack means becoming a vital part of the "#ShackFam," a community that provides mentorship, training, and clear pathways for career growth in a fun and inclusive workplace. This leadership role offers the opportunity to shape the guest experience, enhance team performance, and contribute meaningfully to a trusted hospitality brand committed to doing the right thing. Alongside a competitive compensation package, the company offers a comprehensive benefits plan including medical, dental, vision insurance, performance bonuses, paid time off, parental leave, and more, highlighting their dedication to employee success and well-being.
