The role of Restaurant Manager at Schulte Hospitality Group embodies the company’s ethos of hospitality, respect, and authenticity. This position involves overseeing the front-of-house operations for a restaurant or hotel setting, ensuring a seamless and high-quality guest experience. The Restaurant Manager will be tasked with leading training initiatives, guiding and supervising supervisors and associates, and providing hands-on support as needed. Their leadership is critical to achieving operational goals and maintaining brand standards consistently. Responsibilities include ensuring food and beverage services meet or exceed guest expectations while adhering to all safety, health, and hygiene regulations. Additionally, the Restaurant Manager will lead the hiring and training processes for service staff, foster effective communication, and promote a constructive and collaborative team environment. Payroll responsibilities such as processing bi-weekly payroll, managing inventory, ordering supplies, and assisting in the Manager on Duty (MOD) program are integral parts of the role as well.

Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • manage front of house operations for the restaurant and hotel
  • provide training, direction, supervision and hands-on support to associates and supervisors
  • direct associates and supervisors to accomplish goals and objectives of the food and beverage operation
  • ensure proper preparation of food and beverages to meet guest satisfaction and brand standards
  • ensure compliance with safety, health and hygiene requirements
  • hire and train service staff
  • facilitate communication, engagement and conflict resolution among team members
  • process bi-weekly payroll
  • handle inventory and order supplies
  • participate in manager on duty program as needed
