Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or food industry preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Must be able to stand for long periods
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Ability to follow instructions and company policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment is a plus
- Ability to maintain a friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is desirable
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Ensure all products are delivered to the customer within Whataburger service time standards
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service standards including offering refills to customers in the dining room
- Perform maintenance tasks as scheduled or assigned
- Actively participate in all current sales promotions and marketing events during work time
- Operate all designated customer service stations
- Learn and apply the correct location for all items stored and used such as food products, paper products, cleaning supplies
- Mop spills or leaks quickly to prevent accidents
- Demonstrate knowledge of proper handling and storage of all sanitizing and cleaning chemicals
- Clean customer service areas following proper procedures including landscaping, building entrances, dining room tables, condiment stations, restrooms, and food production and storage units
- Support customer service by stocking stations appropriately to ensure continuous service
- Follow company cash handling policies
