In this role, the successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional customer service skills by engaging with guests, offering refills, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. The role also includes performing various maintenance duties such as mopping up spills to prevent accidents, maintaining cleanliness in customer service areas including the dining room, restrooms, food production and storage units, as well as supporting ongoing sales promotions and marketing events. The ability to operate various customer service stations and apply proper storage and handling techniques for food products and cleaning chemicals is essential.

Employees are expected to uphold company cash handling policies and support service continuity by keeping stations well-stocked. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or food industry preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Must be able to stand for long periods
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Basic math skills for cash handling
  • Ability to follow instructions and company policies

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment is a plus
  • Ability to maintain a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Ensure all products are delivered to the customer within Whataburger service time standards
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service standards including offering refills to customers in the dining room
  • Perform maintenance tasks as scheduled or assigned
  • Actively participate in all current sales promotions and marketing events during work time
  • Operate all designated customer service stations
  • Learn and apply the correct location for all items stored and used such as food products, paper products, cleaning supplies
  • Mop spills or leaks quickly to prevent accidents
  • Demonstrate knowledge of proper handling and storage of all sanitizing and cleaning chemicals
  • Clean customer service areas following proper procedures including landscaping, building entrances, dining room tables, condiment stations, restrooms, and food production and storage units
  • Support customer service by stocking stations appropriately to ensure continuous service
  • Follow company cash handling policies
