The DoubleTree by Hilton Miami Airport Convention Center is currently seeking an experienced Server to join its vibrant Food and Beverage team. This is a 100% on-site, non-exempt position reporting directly to the Food and Beverage Manager. The server role is essential in delivering high-quality, timely, and friendly service to guests within the hotel’s restaurant and banquet areas. This position pays $10.98 per hour plus tips.

In this role, the successful candidate will engage directly with guests to take beverage and food orders, provide recommendations, and ensure an overall positive dining experience. The server will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within the restaurant, from washing glassware to clearing and resetting tables efficiently. Operating point-of-sale systems for recording orders and processing payments will be crucial duties. Additionally, the server helps in restocking supplies and supporting smooth restaurant operations by assisting colleagues and filling in where needed. The role demands excellent interpersonal skills, basic knowledge of beer, wine, and liquors, and the ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately. Being physically capable of standing for extended periods and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds is necessary for day-to-day tasks.
