Job Requirements
- Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- knowledge of the sequence of service and dining room procedures
- excellent communication skills
- basic math skills
Job Duties
- Greet guests and present them with the menu
- inform guests of specials, menu changes, answer questions regarding food, beverages and allergies
- receive food and beverage orders from guests and relay to kitchen staff and bartender using a POS system
- communicate with the hosts, table support team, kitchen staff and bartenders to coordinate stations
- present, open and pour wine and beer when serving guests
- assist table support team with stocking work stations, removing and resetting used dishes and silverware
- assist with cash register at counter-service restaurants
- perform other duties as required or assigned
