The core responsibility of this role is to act as an enthusiastic and knowledgeable team member who can efficiently handle multiple tasks while maintaining a positive and organized demeanor. Employees are expected to greet guests promptly and warmly, possess thorough menu knowledge to assist guests in making informed selections, and accurately take and enter orders into the point-of-sale system. Furthermore, this role requires providing attentive food and beverage service, including serving dishes, maintaining service stations, pre-bussing tables, and facilitating the payment process by delivering checks and collecting payments.
In addition to these operational duties, team members are charged with creating an atmosphere that not only satisfies customers but delights them to the extent that they become repeat visitors and recommend the restaurant to others. Maintaining cleanliness and restocking supplies within specific sections of the restaurant is also a critical part of guaranteeing smooth service operations.
