Job Description
The Springs at The Waterfront is a premier senior living community located at 1015 W. Columbia Way in Vancouver, Washington. This state-of-the-art, 12-story building offers approximately 250 private residences designed exclusively for those aged 62 and older. Nestled along the south-facing Vancouver riverfront, The Springs at The Waterfront boasts stunning views and a warm, inviting atmosphere that combines urban sophistication with comfort. The community features high-end amenities, including secure underground parking, and offers a variety of floor plans suited to the unique needs and preferences of its residents. With more than 27 years of experience in compassionate, quality senior care, The Springs Living is dedicated to redefining the senior living experience through innovative services and housing options such as independent living, assisted living, and memory care. A hallmark of the community is its commitment to excellence not only in care but also as a supportive and engaging employer.
The role of Restaurant Server at The Springs at The Waterfront is an exciting opportunity for hospitality professionals who are passionate about delivering 5-star service in an upscale dining environment. This position offers both full-time and part-time employment options with a competitive hourly wage ranging from $18.50 to $24.00, based on experience. Notably, this is a non-tipping environment, reflecting The Springs Living's focus on equitable compensation and professional respect for its team members. The restaurant venues provide award-winning cuisine paired with breathtaking riverfront views, creating a fine-dining experience that complements the luxury lifestyle of the community residents.
As a Restaurant Server, you will be part of a team of classically trained hospitality professionals committed to providing exceptional service without the late nights commonly associated with restaurant work, offering a healthy work-life balance. Responsibilities include delivering attentive table service, preparing light bartending tasks, and efficiently managing room service orders. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, upholding high standards of sanitation and menu knowledge, including beer, wine, cocktail, and food offerings.
This role also requires empathy and understanding of the unique needs of senior residents, ensuring that every guest feels valued and cared for. Previous fine dining experience of one year or more is preferred, as well as familiarity with wine and alcohol service. A positive, professional attitude and willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this position. The Springs Living provides comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, employee discounts, and access to wellness facilities such as a gym and pool. The community is dedicated to employee growth and development by offering paid training, leadership coaching, scholarships, and career advancement opportunities. Join The Springs at The Waterfront to be part of an innovative senior living community that values quality, compassion, and outstanding hospitality.
