Job Description

Dave & Buster's Inc. and Main Event Entertainment are renowned leaders in the restaurant and entertainment industry, offering a unique blend of dining experiences combined with interactive gameplay in a vibrant, energetic environment. Known for their commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences, these companies pride themselves on creating engaging atmospheres where customers can enjoy quality food and entertainment all under one roof. Operating two fun brands simultaneously, they provide employees with plentiful opportunities for career growth and advancement within a supportive and dynamic team setting. As an Equal Opportunity Employer, Dave & Buster's Inc. and Main Event Entertainment value diversity and inclusivity, ensuring a welcoming workplace for all team members. The companies participate in E-Verify in states where it is required, demonstrating a commitment to compliance and integrity in their hiring processes.

The Restaurant & Operations Manager role is a pivotal leadership position that demands a passionate and adaptable individual capable of managing multiple facets of a fast-paced restaurant and entertainment environment. This position involves providing overall leadership, supervision, and strategic direction to drive business success and elevate the guest experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-energy setting, understands the importance of team motivation, and can effectively communicate with staff and guests to inspire fun and engagement.

Key responsibilities include leading hourly team members to exceed guest expectations, driving proactive leadership through personal interaction, and participating actively in recruiting, hiring, coaching, and training efforts to nurture continuous professional development. The manager also embodies and champions the company's core values while collaborating closely with the management team to ensure high-quality, timely results across all operational areas.

This role requires an individual who is not only goal-oriented but also resists complacency, always seeking to outdo previous achievements. Managing daily sales reaching up to 100K, handling an average 50-hour workweek, and navigating the physical demands of the job such as walking five miles per shift illustrates the dynamic and demanding nature of the position. The manager must maintain control over cost of goods sold and labor expenses, ensuring that operations remain efficient and profitable.

With a competitive salary range of $58,629 to $68,976, the position offers a rewarding career path supported by an extensive suite of benefits. These include a quarterly bonus program, comprehensive health, dental, vision, and disability insurance, an employee assistance program, and additional perks such as free food, gameplay, and a vibrant, fun work atmosphere. The commitment to employee well-being is further reflected in programs like the Buster's Legacy Fund supporting team members during difficult times and a 401K matching plan to help secure financial futures.

Joining the Dave & Buster's and Main Event teams means becoming part of a large leadership group, ensuring robust managerial support with multiple managers per shift. This structure fosters a collaborative environment where managers are empowered to succeed and grow their careers while contributing to a lively and memorable guest experience.
