Job Description

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is a distinguished collection of 69 polished-casual restaurants known for its boldly flavored American cuisine. Specializing in fresh steaks, seafood, and dishes prepared from scratch, every entree is expertly seared over authentic wood-fired grills fueled by local hickory, oak, or pecan wood to impart a signature smoky flavor. The restaurant's elegant architectural details include custom-designed wine walls, cozy patios, and the inviting FIREBAR. The FIREBAR features an extensive selection of artisan cocktails, craft beers, and a robust wine list, including Firebirds' exclusive private label wines served at ideal cellar temperatures. Founded on the principles to serve, enrich, and exceed, Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is deeply rooted in the communities it serves, fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere where guests can enjoy memorable dining experiences.

The Service/Bar Manager at Firebirds Wood Fired Grill plays a pivotal role in the daily operations of the restaurant's front-of-house functions. Operating with limited supervision, the Service/Bar Manager is responsible for ensuring an impeccable guest experience, maintaining a polished restaurant appearance, and leading the front-of-house team effectively. This leadership includes scheduling, coordination, and fostering superior communication with the General Manager to ensure seamless operations. This position requires a hands-on manager who actively engages with both guests and team members, maintaining a strong presence in the dining room, bar, and entryway to guarantee top-tier hospitality standards.

In this role, the Service/Bar Manager leads by example, coaching hourly team members and overseeing their learning and development. The position demands skillful management of bar inventory, including ordering and bi-weekly inventory of wine, liquor, and beer, conducted collaboratively with the team. Additionally, the Service/Bar Manager is responsible for hiring new front-of-house staff to meet staffing goals and ensure a well-rounded team capable of delivering extraordinary service. Firebirds values individuals who are motivated, dependable, and able to maintain professionalism and composure under pressure.

Firebirds offers this role as a full-time position with competitive compensation and excellent earning potential. The company provides comprehensive training, opportunities for growth through new store openings, and a supportive work environment that encourages development. Employees benefit from a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off, holiday closures on major holidays, and other incentives like bonuses every other pay period. Firebirds is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.

If you are an experienced hospitality leader with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and wish to advance your career with a growing and respected brand, Firebirds Wood Fired Grill invites you to apply to join their dynamic team and ignite your professional journey.
