The role of Restaurant Manager at Whataburger is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing high-volume restaurant operations with average annual sales exceeding $4 million and managing a team of more than fifty Family Members. This role is designed to cultivate well-rounded leaders by rotating responsibilities across Customer Service, Quality Control, and People Management areas, preparing candidates for future opportunities as Operating Partners. Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or GED strongly preferred or equivalent experience
- Have open availability including overnights, weekends, holidays, and variable hours
- Maintain dependable attendance
- Be able to stand up to 10 hours and lift up to 55 lbs
- Have 1-3 years of leadership experience
- Possess ServSafe Food Manager Certification or the ability to obtain it during training
- Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain current automobile liability insurance
