Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • minimum 2 years of experience in full-service restaurant management
  • passion for guest service, team leadership, and craft beer culture
  • strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • knowledge of Microsoft Office and restaurant systems including POS and HotSchedules
  • Cicerone Certified Beer Server, ServSafe Food Manager, and alcohol certification or ability to obtain
  • able to lift 50 pounds
  • able to maneuver 165-pound kegs
  • able to work on feet in a fast-paced environment
  • at least 21 years of age
  • able to travel occasionally up to 20 percent

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate leadership through teamwork, respect, and positivity

  • uphold and promote the culture of hospitality and high standards
  • oversee the daily operations of both FOH and BOH teams
  • manage reservations and collaborate with the event coordinator
  • lead pre-shift meetings and maintain communication through HotSchedules
  • complete assigned area of responsibility tasks as delegated by the General Manager
  • ensure compliance with labor laws, health codes, and DABC regulations
  • ensure exceptional guest service is a priority for all staff
  • assist in resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • serve as a brand ambassador for visiting brewers, partners, and community members
  • assist in hiring, onboarding, and scheduling of team members
  • provide coaching, performance management, and disciplinary follow-up
  • foster a culture of learning, respect, and accountability
  • ensure ongoing training for job competency and development
  • collaborate with the Chef to maintain food consistency and presentation standards
  • promote Salt Lake Brewing Co. LC beers with accuracy and enthusiasm
  • maintain and troubleshoot kitchen and draft systems
  • oversee cleanliness, safety, and security throughout the restaurant
  • reconcile cash and prepare daily deposits
  • track beer and retail inventory transfers
  • assist with vendor orders and invoice reconciliation
  • conduct periodic inventory counts and support financial accountability
