Job Description
Chili's Grill & Bar, founded in Dallas, Texas in 1975, has established itself as a prominent force in the casual dining industry. Known for its iconic menu featuring Big Mouth burgers, house-smoked ribs, sizzling fajitas, and hand-shaken margaritas, Chili's offers a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere that combines great food with genuine hospitality. Over the decades, Chili's has built a reputation not only for delicious dishes but also for a culture deeply rooted in exceptional service, community involvement, and a commitment to providing memorable experiences for every Guest. This makes it a favorite destination for families, friends, and anyone looking to enjoy quality meals in a fun and casual setting. The restaurant’s legacy is marked by a dedication to giving back to the community and fostering a positive, inclusive environment that values both Team Members and Guests alike.
Chili's Managers play a crucial role in continuing this tradition of excellence and hospitality. These leaders are passionate about connecting with both Team Members and Guests, embodying a people-first approach that ensures everyone feels special. As a Manager at Chili’s, you are not just responsible for overseeing daily operations; rather, you act as a vital link that drives the restaurant’s success through teamwork, accountability, and a heart-led leadership style. This management position is a full-time role offering an annual salary range of $68,000 to $75,000, rewarding those who demonstrate a commitment to excellence and a willingness to go above and beyond.
The role of a Chili's Manager is dynamic and multifaceted. From the moment a shift begins, Managers lead with energy and enthusiasm, ensuring the team meets and exceeds Guest expectations. They are responsible for maintaining operational and quality standards, making sure every dish and drink served is perfect. Managers foster open communication, influence Team Member behaviors positively, and champion change initiatives that keep the restaurant running smoothly and efficiently. Training, hiring, and developing team members are among key responsibilities, creating pathways for growth within the company. Importantly, the Manager must uphold Chili’s culture and core beliefs: Every Guest Counts, Food Perfection, Be Accountable, and Play Restaurant. These principles guide every action and decision within the restaurant. Furthermore, Managers handle the financial aspects of the business, controlling costs through Chili’s systems while balancing a high-energy work environment that values fun and recognition. Beyond just leading the restaurant floor, Managers actively engage with the local community, building relationships and driving Guest engagement beyond the four walls of the establishment. This comprehensive leadership role requires someone who is dependable, a strong multitasker, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, all while maintaining a focused, results-driven mindset.
