SaddleBrooke Two is a premier, award-winning active adult lifestyle community located in the beautiful foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains in Arizona. This luxurious residential community, designed for adults aged 55 and older, offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the desert and mountain vistas, making it an ideal place to live, work, and retire. The community prides itself on providing not just a home but a fulfilling lifestyle surrounded by natural beauty and excellent services. SaddleBrooke Two is committed to inclusivity, equality, and upholding a respectful work environment, proudly operating as an Equal Opportunity Employer and participating in E-Verify. They may conduct background and financial checks as part of their hiring process to ensure team members meet their high standards of integrity and professionalism.

The role of Restaurant Manager at SaddleBrooke Two is a vital leadership position within their Food and Beverage team, specifically responsible for overseeing the operations of the MountainView Bar & Grill. This restaurant acts as a central social hub where members and guests come together to enjoy quality food and drinks in a warm, inviting atmosphere accompanied by spectacular views of the Santa Catalina Mountains. The Restaurant Manager is tasked with ensuring that every dining experience at MountainView Bar & Grill embodies the distinct SaddleBrooke Two hospitality and community spirit. This position demands a hands-on leader who is visible during service hours, actively building strong relationships with members and guests, and fostering a culture of exceptional customer service throughout the venue.

Key responsibilities include managing all daily operations of the restaurant's dining, bar, and banquet services with a focus on efficiency and team collaboration. The Restaurant Manager works closely with both the dining room and kitchen staff, facilitating seamless communication to meet and exceed guest expectations. Financial oversight is critical; the manager maintains labor costs, manages purchasing and inventory control of food, liquor, and supplies, ensuring operations remain within budgetary constraints. Recruiting and team development are also essential duties, where the manager interviews, hires, trains, schedules, and supports the front-of-house team, handling disciplinary actions when necessary to maintain a positive and productive work environment. Promoting workplace safety and compliance with food handling and alcohol service regulations is another vital aspect of the role.

Day-to-day duties also involve managing the reservation system, optimizing dine-in and carry-out guest services, addressing customer feedback promptly and professionally, and handling closing activities including cash reconciliation and reporting. Beyond these operational responsibilities, the Restaurant Manager plays an active role in upholding the esteemed reputation of the MountainView Bar & Grill and contributing to the broader mission and values of SaddleBrooke Two.

This is a full-time position that offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, company-paid life and disability coverage, a company-matched 401(k) plan, paid vacation, holiday and sick time, and other unique perks that complement the rewarding work environment at SaddleBrooke Two. The community encourages a healthy work-life balance inspired by the scenic, serene surroundings and dynamic community life. If you have more than three years of experience in Food and Beverage management, supervisory experience, and a commitment to leading a team that delivers outstanding service, this role at SaddleBrooke Two offers an exceptional opportunity to grow your career in one of Arizona’s best retirement communities.
